Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of downtown, which made exploring the area a breeze. While the rooftop area was beautiful, I had issues with the room's dark lighting and outdated decor. Service staff were friendly, but there were some inconsistencies in their attentiveness. Overall, there were positive aspects like cleanliness and location, but I felt the hotel pricing was not justified given the letdowns in room quality.
My stay at the hotel was quite mixed. While the rooftop pool and lounge were a delight, making it a great place to unwind, the lack of housekeeping and the noise from the street really took away from the experience. Additionally, the price felt quite steep for what was provided, especially considering the dining options were underwhelming. Overall, I enjoyed the rooftop views but struggled with several inconveniences.
I had an overall fantastic stay at this hotel, especially enjoying the rooftop pool and beautiful views. The staff was incredibly welcoming and accommodating, making my experience truly memorable. However, the room had a couple of issues, including noise from street traffic and cleanliness concerns around the jacuzzi area, which detracted a bit from the experience. The location was perfect for exploring Santa Barbara, but I did find the value for money to be a bit questionable given some shortcomings.
My stay at the Kimpton Canary Hotel was filled with ups and downs. The location is absolutely perfect for exploring downtown Santa Barbara and is close to some great dining options. The staff genuinely care about their guests, which made my visit much more enjoyable. But I did face room readiness issues and found the noise levels quite disruptive, affecting my overall comfort. Despite the steep price, the attention to service made a notable difference.
I had a wonderful stay at the Kimpton Canary Hotel, where the rooftop deck and the on-site restaurant made my visit memorable. The staff were absolutely outstanding, helping me in a tough situation by charging my car battery and offering extra assistance. However, the pricing for some amenities felt a bit steep, and the room arrangement could have been better. Overall, the customer service alone would bring me back!
Staying at Kimpton Canary was an absolute delight. The rooftop terrace and pool offered stunning views and a perfect spot for relaxation, while the staff were extremely attentive and made us feel special. However, some rooms could feel a bit small, and the suite we moved to still didn't feel as spacious as we expected. Overall, it was a great experience with just a few minor quirks.
My experience at Kimpton Canary was quite delightful, with the charming decor and unique ambiance truly standing out. The rooftop pool offered breathtaking views, although the condition of the jacuzzi left something to be desired. The hotel provides excellent amenities, including a complimentary wine hour, and the restaurant served fantastic food. However, the pricing can feel a bit steep, considering some elements need improvement.
My experience at this hotel was quite disappointing, especially considering the high price point. The room was dark and outdated, not fitting for a luxury hotel, and I felt misled by the advertising. The rooftop pool was smaller than expected and doesn't have any bar or restaurant service. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend staying here unless you're looking for a budget option in a great location.
While the hotel features charming architecture and spacious rooms, my stay was marred by a lack of communication regarding renovations, including closed facilities like the rooftop pool and restaurant. The cleanliness and comfortable ambiance were positives, but the overall experience fell short, particularly due to noise and staffing issues during breakfast.
